Our marble countertop polishing and sealing process

Repair cracks and chips. We use a marble cleaner to remove any dirt or debris. We mix a marble repair epoxy that matches the color of your countertop and apply it to the crack or chip using a putty knife. Once the epoxy dries, we smooth the repaired area and apply a marble polish to restore the shine..

Remove stains. We determine the type of stain to choose the appropriate poultice or cleaner, which we apply and allow to sit. We remove the poultice and clean the area with a marble cleaner.

Remove etch marks. We apply a marble etch remover or polishing powder to the affected area and use a soft cloth or a polisher to buff the surface.

Repair seams. We make sure the seams are clean and free from debris. We apply a color-matched epoxy to fill any gaps or uneven areas in the seams. We smooth and polish the area to match the rest of the countertop.

Reseal. We make sure the countertop is clean and completely dry. We apply a marble sealer and allow it to penetrate for the recommended time. We remove any excess sealer and allow the countertop to cure for the recommended time.
