Our granite countertop polishing and sealing process

Repair cracks and chips. We use a granite cleaner to remove any dirt or debris. We mix a granite repair epoxy that matches the color of your countertop and apply it to the crack or chip using a putty knife. Once the epoxy dries, we smooth the repaired area and apply a granite polish to restore the shine..

Remove stains. We determine the type of stain to choose the appropriate poultice or cleaner, which we apply and allow to sit. We remove the poultice and clean the area with a granite cleaner.

Remove etch marks. We apply a granite etch remover or polishing powder to the affected area and use a soft cloth or a polisher to buff the surface.

Repair seams. We make sure the seams are clean and free from debris. We apply a color-matched epoxy to fill any gaps or uneven areas in the seams. We smooth and polish the area to match the rest of the countertop.

Reseal. We make sure the countertop is clean and completely dry. We apply a granite sealer and allow it to penetrate for the recommended time. We remove any excess sealer and allow the countertop to cure for the recommended time.
